Hot off the press

The great thing about working in communication, film and media is that your new work is so wonderfully visible. And that you can easily share it with anyone. Here you find my latest news.

The Summer’s a wrap

During these past months, Skiff, How to Win at Life, and the second season of dutch TV series Tenminste houdbaar tot were all in production. I handled hand props and graphic design, keeping busy through the (late) summer. It’ll be a bit before they hit the screens though; they’re all slated for release in the new year.

We won a lamp

With the whole team from Steam, DPPLR and Initiative, we were proud recipients of a Dutch Creativity Award for our work on the recruitment campaign Ik ga nooit bij de politie (I’ll never join the police force).

From the Jury report: “The jury was motivated by the daring concept of this work. By openly addressing room for improvement within the force, they showed vulnerability, inviting people to make a change from within. This work demonstrated in the most literal way that an honest representation of minorities within our society is key, if not to say, vital.”

The campaign consisted of a TV commercial, web videos, social content, and (D)OOH. Check out the campaign videos here >>>

Olga Ponjee’s book launched…

… and I got to design the cover! Olga wanted it to have an old omnibus feel, as if it were printed with gold on linen. And that idea turned out really well in print. Or, as Olga put it, “It really messes with your head, this cover!” Oneindig has been printed in a limited edition of only 50 copies, but it’s also available for purchase as an e-book.

Employer Branding Campaign

Through Steam I worked on a new employer branding campaign for grid operator Enexis: videos, social posts, banners and offline advertising. Key message? With energy, we can!

Cinematic Digital Illustration course completed

I did a course on Cinematic Digital Illustration by Izzy Burton and man, was that fun! A sneak preview on the right, for the entire drawing click through to my “stuff” section.
